Beirut Airport Informational Guide to Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY) - Non Official

Beirut Airport Taxi

By taxi you can get to Beirut within 30 minutes.

Taxi is the main transportation option to Beirut city centre.

Taxi services are available at the airport where certified taxis are parked next to the terminal at the arrival gate and have an airport logo on the side.

The estimated fare to get to downtown Beirut ranges from $ 20.00 to $ 25.00.

You should be aware of possible scams, where not authorized drivers will offer to take you to city centre for $35.00.

You can always bargain the price with the taxi driver, even though, make sure the price is arranged prior to the trip.

As these taxis are regulated by the airport authorities, they have an unified official rate. Regular taxis are also available but their charges are subject to bargain.

We recommend getting the official airport taxis, which you can identify by the plane logo on the side of the car.

Uber does work in Beirut Airport facilities.

In order to ask for a car it is needed to download the application to the smartphone first.

If want private transportation to and from Beirut Airport to any destination, you can book a transfer.
