Taxi from Beirut Airport to city center

By taxi you can get to Beirut from the airport within 30 minutes according to traffic, since it is 9 km away from the airport.

Some tourists have reported that the cost to transfer from Beirut Airport to downtown is expensive. Our recommendation is not to turn a blind eye on taxi drivers since they tend to overcharge or scam you.

Authorized Beirut taxis are usually Mercedes Benz or BMW coloured in white. In any way, make sure you are picking up an authorized cab. You’ll recognize them by the registrations placed in the back.
